About DrinkLab
DrinkLab is a database of drink recipes and ingredients (official site: www.drinklab.life). It brings recipes, ingredient specs and per-cup cost calculation together for café and tea shop owners, drink developers and home drink makers.
What DrinkLab does
The recipe library covers milk tea, coffee, tea drinks, cocktails, mocktails, juices, smoothies and shakes, each with ingredients, amounts and steps. Hot and iced versions of the same drink are kept together. Recipes were originally written in Chinese and are shown here in machine translation.
The ingredient library lists specs, origin, reference purchase prices and usage for tea bases, dairy, coffee beans, fruit, syrups, toppings, prepared bases and spirits, and shows which recipes use each one.
The cost calculator works out the ingredient cost of a cup; the AI lab builds recipe ideas from the ingredient library based on flavor, category and budget.
Where the data comes from
The public recipe and ingredient libraries are curated by DrinkLab. Shops and individuals can keep their own private recipes; anything they want to publish is reviewed before it appears in the public library.
Some classic cocktails follow the official IBA list. Recipe data and some images come from openly licensed works, credited on the attributions page.
Reference prices are market estimates and vary widely by region and supplier. Use your own purchase prices before making business decisions.
