IBA official recipe. Shake; mainly gin, black cherry liqueur, and lemon juice; served in a coupe.

Ingredients

• Gin 45 ml
• Maraschino liqueur 15 ml
• Lemon Juice 15 ml
• Creme de violette 1 bar spoon

Method

1. Chill the glassware in advance.
2. Pour all ingredients into the shaker.
3. Fill with ice and shake well for 12–15 seconds until the shaker frosts.
4. Double strain into the chilled glass.
5. Finish according to garnish requirements.

Glassware: Coupe Glass; Ice: No ice; Garnish: Maraschino cherry; About 22.9% ABV
