Singapore Sling

Official IBA recipe. Shaken, based on gin, cherry brandy, and Cointreau, served in a hurricane glass.

Ingredients

• Gin 30 ml
• Kirsch 15 ml
• Cointreau 7.5 ml
• Benedictine 7.5 ml
• Pineapple Juice 120 ml
• Lime juice 15 ml
• Grenadine syrup 10 ml
• Angostura bitters 1 dash

Method

1. Chill the glassware in advance.
2. Pour all ingredients into the shaker.
3. Fill with ice and shake well for 12–15 seconds until the shaker frosts.
4. Double strain into the chilled glass.
5. Finish according to garnish requirements.

Glassware: Hurricane Glass; Ice: No ice; Garnish: Pineapple and maraschino cherry; About 9.1% ABV
